Leading 3PL provider in terms of scale of operation and proven track record

Net sales of Sankyu's 3PL service is growing at about 11% per year for five consecutive years, thanks to newly developed business and expansion of existing business. Net sales of 3PL business in fiscal year 2007 is ¥45.9 billion (510 million US dollar). We plan to achieve net sales of ¥50 billion (556 million US dollar) in fiscal year 2008.

Information System

Our proprietary information system makes our client' logistics flow visible in Japan and across the world. They are happy with our IT capability, which helps make their production and sales planning more accurate. The latest material handling infrastructure such as wireless handy terminals ensures flawless operation at our work sites, eliminating human error.

Uniform Service Level

Sankyu makes it sure that our service for a client is uniform across all Sankyu service locations. For the customers we provide service with at more than one distribution center, we set up what we call "control center" where we check and monitor service level at each location. We carry out periodical internal auditing to ensure proper warehouse management and to prevent unevenness of service level.

1.Comprehensive 3PL service for a leading global company in general merchandise industry

Providing service at all their distribution centers in Japan.
Customs clearance at ports of entry, transportation from local plant, storage at distribution centers, repacking, customization, shipping and delivery.

2.Pick and pack and delivery to all over Japan for a major cosmetics manufacturer

Introduction of advanced material handling system including automated picking machine to shorten the picking lead time.
Delivery from one distribution center to all over Japan next morning of shipped day. (First successful endeavor in cosmeticss industry in Japan.)

3.Integrated 3PL service for a foreign affiliated synthetic resin manufacturer

Handle more than 300,000 ton of synthetic resin per year. Filling and packing the products at customer's plant sites, stock allocation planning, storage at each stock point and delivery.
